Originally recorded for release by the French label Sonafric in 1976, this album was produced by Gérard Akueson, founder of the Akue label in Paris. Now, it’s being reissued officially by Mr Bongo, with licensing from Sonafric/MRC, and has been supported by a range of tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson, Hunee, Antal, Rush Hour, and many more.
