The 10th-anniversary reissue of FloFilz’s breakthrough album Cenário, originally released in 2016. This new edition comes housed in a gatefold sleeve featuring newly designed artwork and an extended 16-page photo booklet by Robert Winter.
Cenário arrived at the height of the European beat scene and remains one of the defining albums of the genre. A seminal work in FloFilz’s catalogue, the album has lost none of its magic. Its warm, jazz-driven production and carefully crafted beats established FloFilz as one of the most influential producers working at the intersection of jazz, hip-hop, and soul.
With “Dulce,” the album features FloFilz’s most commercially successful track, which has surpassed 40 million streams. Other highlights include “Taxi Bossa” and the two collaborations with mystical jazz singer Olivia Wendlandt, “Intro Azul” and “Nuvem.”
Cenário is dedicated to the city of Lisbon and was the second release in FloFilz’s album series created with photographer Robert Winter and Melting Pot Music. The series began in 2012 and would later take FloFilz and Winter to Paris, London, and Tokyo.
