Description
LA is a collaborative album from Los Angeles emcee Blu and producer Sndtrak, centered on Blu’s hometown and the different sounds and stories that define West Coast hip-hop. The project blends soulful, sample-driven production with vivid street-level observations, personal reflection, and a strong sense of place.
Sndtrak gives the album a warm, gritty backdrop while Blu moves between nostalgia, city pride, social commentary, and sharp lyricism. A wide range of West Coast guests adds to the project’s local character, making LA feel like both a personal tribute and a broader celebration of the region’s independent rap tradition.
