DESCRIPTION

Released in the summer of 2015, Music for My Friends is a critically acclaimed concept album by Brooklyn lyricist Skyzoo, exploring life through the eyes of a 13-year-old growing up in his neighborhood. The project features standout guest appearances from Jadakiss, Black Thought, Bilal, and Elzhi, with production by Illmind, Thelonious Martin, and Seige Monstracity.

The album includes the blog smash single ‘Luxury’ featuring a then-rising Westside Gunn — his first major appearance outside of his own work — which went on to become a staple on MTV Jams.
