DESCRIPTION
Organized Konfusion’s self-titled debut is a landmark of early-’90s East Coast hip-hop. Released in 1991, the album introduced the Queens duo of Pharoahe Monch and Prince Po with dense rhyme schemes, abstract imagery, sharp social commentary and inventive production.
Moving between playful tracks, battle rhymes and more politically charged material, the record includes standouts such as “Fudge Pudge,” “Walk Into The Sun,” “Releasing Hypnotical Gases” and “Prisoners Of War.” This 35th Anniversary 2LP edition marks the first official vinyl reissue of the album since its original release and adds three rare bonus tracks.
