Seam splits on record jackets are a common occurrence with vinyl: we cannot issue refunds or replacements for seam splits. We use sturdy mailers and stiffeners to minimise risk but to 100% avoid seam splits, we have added a notes section at checkout where you can request jacket-less shipping, or you can email us after placing your order — we’ll gladly accommodate this free of charge.
DESCRIPTION
The black vinyl edition of the “Pimpalation” LP by Pimp C was released on Rap-A-Lot Records.
“Pimpalation” documents Pimp C’s return to the studio and delivers a tightly constructed set of solo tracks and collaborations, defined by standout singles like “Knockin' Doorz Down” and “Bobby & Whitney.” The production combines straightforward beat work with detailed arrangements, featuring not only the artist himself but also producers like Mike Dean, Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha, and Mr. Lee. The record comes with an extensive guest list: contributions from Bun B, Scarface, and Slim Thug appear alongside performances from other Southern acts and regional voices, allowing the album to capture both personal statements and collective moments. Musically, it stays close to Southern traditions, while selective instrumentation and dense mixes add accents that sharpen the character of individual songs. This black vinyl edition presents the album in a classic LP format, bringing together the production, guest features, and studio signatures in a compact release.
