Regulate... G Funk Era is the debut studio album from American rapper and producer Warren G, originally released in 1994. A defining release of the West Coast hip-hop sound, the album helped bring G-funk to a mainstream audience with its laid-back grooves, smooth production, melodic samples and Warren G’s relaxed delivery.
The album is anchored by the iconic single “Regulate,” featuring Nate Dogg, which became one of the most recognisable tracks of the 1990s. Other highlights include “This D.J.,” “Do You See” and “Super Soul Sis,” with guest appearances from Nate Dogg, Mista Grimm, The Twinz and B-Tip.
Regulate... G Funk Era remains a classic of ’90s West Coast hip-hop and an essential album for fans of G-funk, rap and the era’s signature sound.
This edition was released on 4 July 2025 and comes as a 2xLP pressed on light blue vinyl, with both records presented as light blue discs.
