Seam splits on record jackets are a common occurrence with vinyl: we cannot issue refunds or replacements for seam splits. We use sturdy mailers and stiffeners to minimise risk but to 100% avoid seam splits, we have added a notes section at checkout where you can request jacket-less shipping, or you can email us after placing your order — we’ll gladly accommodate this free of charge.
DESCRIPTION
2x Black LP 2026 Reissue
Released in 1993, Return of the Boom Bap marked KRS-One's debut solo album following his influential run with Boogie Down Productions. Widely regarded as one of the defining East Coast hip-hop records of the decade, the album pairs KRS-One's uncompromising social commentary and razor-sharp lyricism with heavyweight production from DJ Premier, Showbiz, Kid Capri, Norty Cotto and KRS-One himself. Featuring classics including "Sound of da Police," "Outta Here" and "Black Cop," the album helped re-establish boom bap as the dominant sound of New York rap and remains an essential cornerstone of '90s hip-hop.
