This Is Marijata is the debut LP from the Ghanaian powerhouse trio Marijata, made up of Kofi 'Electric' Addison on drums, Bob Fischlan on organ, and Nat Osmanu on guitar. Originally released in 1976 on Gapophone Records, this landmark recording is a raw, roots-driven masterpiece of African funk, now considered a holy grail for collectors and DJs alike.

This Mr Bongo edition faithfully replicates the original artwork, with the exception of a correction: the side labels are now accurately presented, unlike the mislabelled originals.
