Seam splits on record jackets are a common occurrence with vinyl: we cannot issue refunds or replacements for seam splits. DESCRIPTION
Aesop Rock and Blockhead reunite for Trouble Mountain, their first full collaborative album since Garbology. Inspired by the nostalgic Poconos resort commercials that filled New York television during their childhoods, the record imagines a fictional getaway where escape, reinvention and everyday anxiety collide.
Across 17 tracks, Aesop Rock turns themes of family, work, memory, identity and modern life into dense, vivid storytelling, while Blockhead provides atmospheric, constantly shifting production. Guest appearances include Hanni El Khatib, Baby Dayliner, Open Mike Eagle, Cavalier and 4-Ize. Released through Rhymesayers, the standard vinyl edition comes as a 2LP set.
