Seam splits on record jackets are a common occurrence with vinyl: we cannot issue refunds or replacements for seam splits. We use sturdy mailers and stiffeners to minimise risk but to 100% avoid seam splits, we have added a notes section at checkout where you can request jacket-less shipping, or you can email us after placing your order — we’ll gladly accommodate this free of charge.
DESCRIPTION
Five years after the landmark album that launched his national ascent, Detroit heavyweight Babyface Ray returns to where the modern chapter began. Arriving Friday, November 13th via EMPIRE, Unf*ckwitable II stands as both a full-circle moment and a victory lap—the definitive statement of an artist operating at the peak of his powers.
When Ray released the original Unf*ckwitable in 2021, he transformed from a regional cult hero into one of the primary architect of Detroit’s rap renaissance. His 2022 studio debut FACE cracked the Billboard 200 at No. 31, topped the Heatseekers chart, and enlisted luminaries from Pusha T to Yung Lean. Refusing to let up, he unleashed a relentless wave of critical and commercial triumphs: MOB (2022), Summer’s Mine (2023), The Kid That Did (2024), and the sprawling double album Codeine Cowboy (2025). Along the way, he cemented his status with a Platinum plaque for the 42 Dugg collaboration “Ron Artest,” paired with Gold milestones for signature cuts like “Real N*ggas Don’t Rap,” “What Business Is,” and “Family > Money.”
That commercial footprint has been matched step-for-step on the global stage. From earning a spot in the 2022 XXL Freshman Class and YouTube Music’s Black Voices Class to making his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with “Masterpiece,” Ray’s subdued, effortless cool has resonated worldwide. He has packed rooms on back-to-back headline runs, stormed festival bills at Rolling Loud, Made In America, and Wireless, and linked back up with 42 Dugg for a their 2026 co-headlining trek across North America and Europe.
Now, Unf*ckwitable II bridges that meteoric rise back to the title that started it all. The record showcases Ray’s peerless ear for collaboration, bringing together fellow Michigan linchpins Veeze, 42 Dugg, Peezy, and Babyfxce E alongside a cross-generational link-up with 13-time Grammy-winning icon Babyface.
