Philadelphia rap artist Asher Roth strengthens his relationship with Salt Lake City producer, Heather Grey on their seven track “Why’s It So Grey Out?” The duo’s chemistry first became evident on Roth’s ‘21 collaborative effort, The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 3. Heather Grey’s standout production led to providing the ideal backdrop for Roth’s latest offering, a lyrical exploration of hope versus doubt. Grey’s production interweaves golden age elements with futuristic uncertainty while the formidable duo ask the unfortunate question, Why’s It So Grey Out? The seven track EP boasts guest appearances by Blu, Lord Apex, Kota the Friend, Like and more, and will be available this fall in a striking acrylic black and white swirl vinyl 10-inch in limited quantities through Pale Fire Entertainment in partnership with Fat Beats.
